-On Friday 2, 1982, Argentina—under the rule of the National Reorganization Process—occupied the Falkland Islands. Because Britain claimed the islands as their territory, this act began the Falklands War. As the British troops were deployed, the British regimental bands would sarcastically play Don’t Cry For Me, Argentina to see them off.

-There is a town in central Italy called Narnia. It has been inhabited since the Paleolithic Age, and the first mentions of it show up in records dating back to 600 BCE when it went by the name of Nequinum. It was renamed as Narnia when it became a Roman Municipality in 299 BCE. Today, the town still looks much as it would have in the High Middle Ages. One day, when CS Lewis was flipping through an atlas in his boyhood, he came upon the name and liked it so much that he used it for his books many years later.
